AMD announces collaboration with TopCoder
On March 10th, AMD announced a collaboration with TopCoder to host quarterly coding competitions throughout 2008 specifically focused on advancing multi-threading software applications for multi-core processor architectures. The winners of the competitions will get cash prizes and their results will be made available on developer.amd.com for other software developers to analyze and apply the "best of" principles to their multithreading projects.
