AMD and Tivoli Webcast
Companies world-wide use technologies and solutions from IBM and AMD. Together, AMD & IBM are excited to announce Tivoli Storage Manager on an AMD based platform. On November 14th, AMD and Tivoli hosted a discussion on improved data management and storage.
Listen to the webcast to learn how:
- The AMD64 platform overachieves in delivering the scalability, longevity and performance-per-watt required by datacenter clients, servers and storage systems.
- AMD delivers high performance-per-watt in x86 processors helping you conserve power in the data center.
- AMD64 technology drives fast throughout which provides dedicated high-speed paths to the I/O controllers. CPUs pass data to and from the storage subsystems more quickly helping reduce the bottlenecks associated with traditional front-side bus architectures that share I/O traffic with memory traffic, and CPU-to-CPU communications.
